Discovery & Strategy
The project began with a deep dive into the precision manufacturing landscape to identify clear opportunities for differentiation. Through collaborative discovery, I defined a strategic framework called "Engineered Authority," designed to mirror Apex Precision’s 15-year legacy in the aerospace, medical, and automotive sectors. The goal was to move beyond a "flashy" site and build a digital presence as reliable as their machining work.
I mapped out a high-utility information architecture focusing on six core capabilities, including CNC Milling and Quality Inspection. To convert technical researchers and procurement managers, the customer journey was optimized with deep-dive service pages, documented social proof, and a 15-year interactive timeline. Every decision was engineered to transform technical specifications into a high-performance lead generation tool.

Design & Execution
The design phase focused on creating a "Technical-Professional" visual language, utilizing a high-contrast palette of deep charcoal and metallic grays punctuated by a high-visibility orange accent. To establish industrial authority, I paired the geometric strength of Montserrat headings with the high-legibility Inter typeface for technical body content. This combination ensures the interface feels rugged enough for the shop floor while remaining sophisticated enough for an executive boardroom.
I developed a high-impact homepage featuring dynamic hero sections and animated performance metrics—such as their 98% satisfaction rate—to immediately validate credibility. The service architecture uses a responsive grid with custom iconography, while the "15-year" interactive timeline and project gallery were engineered for deep engagement without clutter. Every element, from the hover-state overlays to the sidebar-and-grid service layouts, was designed to guide procurement managers through the technical data with zero friction.
